  1. ergid , I thought that might be the trade off and you've confirmed it . I'll keep to the dirty light and the in screen radiator 😂 . OSOK
  2. Hi Montey , Are you using the Dragonfly ? Most IR's are fine to 250 yards but i tend to setup where i can see foxes coming in from distance and this can be 5-600 yards .... It's not about shooting them at this distance but clearly seeing them which my copy of the Dragonfly will do with the 15x . A friend on here did mention about the batteries and i found certain makes will throw the light better . Still hoping that someone has bought the upgrade from Clive Ward and can say what the thought on the difference It made . OSOK
  3. Weejohn , The PBiR X is a decent option but it lacks the range of the Dragonfly ... and the L version of the same make was weaker .... There is the DFK unit which again i'm told is the best ever !! cheesy meaning on the initials...Thank you for your thoughts as an ex owner as taking advice off anyone who hasn't owned the item is just worthless Still hoping that someone has fitted the upgrade and can answer the thread question 🙃 OSOK
  4. Does anyone have experience with the VCSEL upgrade pill for the Dragonfly as whilst I've never found any IR too match it's range It's not the cleanest light and the ' Radiator ' effect i've named it which is seen somewhere within the screen does bug the hell out of me . Does the upgrade work or does it just get rid of the ' Radiator ' but at a cost to the range ? I've listened to too many people that say they have the best IR ever and i now have more IR's than daft Mick so please only people that have Dragonfly's 👍 OSOK
  5. SWR Radius weapon mounted rangefinder as new .... It's never been used on a rifle outdoors just mounted and tested within a tunnel range . These are no longer available and never seem to come up for sale let alone one unused . £995 Inc Insured postage . Listed for sale elsewhere OSOK
  6. I have a 6.5 wsm which pushes the 140's between 3250 and 3450 ft sec with comfort however the barrel will get quite warm after four or five rounds so not something that putting 10 rounds down quickly and with a mod on would work for most comp use . Would i go down the route of a fast 6.5 again .... No ........ Imho go 7mm every day ! OSOK
  7. Look for a reticle that has hash marks of less than a Mil so you get a more accurate call off for correction rather than guessing !
  8. Dale , Buyers would expect you to know this Imformation without having to either ask or look it up ..... However I feel if the barrel is shot out their still getting a good deal and if not then their getting a great deal . OSOK
  9. Just an update on the Trigger Issue .... It's not going to win any beauty award however it works so well and is a lot better than i thought it would turn out . Big Thanks to Gerald at Lodock gear for making it . OSOK
  10. About 3 days old ... I bought it to use as just a spotter with doubler that could be used on a scope if ever needed but it doesn't do the spotting job it was bought for sadly . It has a 42mm size scope attachment and is obviously as new . Cost me £535 .............................................. Selling at £410.......... Inc Special Delivery OSOK
  11. Nick , The list is up to date ...... As any get sold they are removed from the first post . Greg
