  1. Hello CheshireLad. Erm, I'm not too sure just at the moment? I'm currently dealing with an interested member who may want it. I'll let you know how it goes 👍
  2. Hello Will. Thanks for the message. Another member has asked if he could have it just before you. I will let you know if it has been sold or not, but you've got 2nd dibs! Cheers, all the best!
  3. Hiya. I have my Caldwell 'Fire Control' front rest for sale. This was bought a little while ago but was never used and so is in perfect 'just out of the box' condition! Having searched the internet, the cheapest I have seen these for sale is just a tad under £400. I am asking for £150.00 so is a fair saving really. These weigh quite a lot, so posting may be an issue, but not impossible and I'd have to work out the cheapest price. It could be collected from my W. London home or face to face at Bisley maybe? Thanks for looking! NOW SOLD.
  4. I have 2 boxes x 100 (unopened & sealed) Hornady 7mm / .284 ELD-Match 180 grain bullets. Looking for £48.00 per box posted / £95.00 for both boxes posted (or collect from home in W. London PRICE DROP 7/2/24 NOW £45 PER BOX (POSTED) / £90 BOTH BOXES (POSTED)

  7. Excellent rifle for somebody. I hade one and I loved it. Go on someone - treat yourself!
  8. I once had a large plastic tool box with wheels on one end and a extending handle at the other. Everything went in the box, mat across the box / handle and rifle in the trusty AIM dragbag. Jobs a good'n!
  9. Good luck with the sale. I had one of these, a great little rifle then rather stupidly I sold it😭

  14. In answer to the above questions from Roy W et al. I have never been asked to show receipts for reloading supplies in over 30 yrs of shooting (who keeps them anyway?) but at my last renewal, about 3 yrs ago, the new local FO asked about my firearm usage. I was able to show my 'Bisley log' of attendances online. He was very satisfied at the amount of times I'd been there - as well as the various cups and medals I have to show for it. But it was then that he noticed I hadn't used my .22lr rifle very much and he 'asked' if I really needed it?? So, roll it forward to now, and how long before the primer shortage 'may' affect available stocks of factory ammo - after all, it's happened in the US before! I can show an FO the many hundreds of bullets, few kilos of powder and more brass than I can shake a stick at that I have, but I'm just down to the last 150-ish primers to make it all go pop, which in effect prevents me from going to Bisley as often as I would like, especially as the Imperial is looming....... Yes, I could buy some overpriced factory ammo, but to what ends if it's nowhere near the same standard as my own? Plus I have no great desire to add barrel wear with a load of old *#~" just to get a bit of 'trigger time' (barrels are a bit pricey too). But anyway, back to my original question. Why is there such a shortage of primers at the moment? That's all I was trying to ascertain........Answers rather than alternatives please.
