Sent my ASE SL7i back to Jackson’s for a thread change. My original one was cerakoted black from the get go. However the new thread portion they will fit is silver in colour. I’ve rattled canned other moderators with high temp paint before with good success and still going well. However even “matt” I’ve used previously…. Isn’t that Matt. Can anyone recommend a high temp paint that is truly matt in finish to match my existing cerakote? Thanks in advance, Mark

I have a proof carbon barrel. Expensive, over priced but fundamentally excellent. I haven’t experienced any shot stringing or POI shift using it. Extremely accurate. Very ammo tolerant and very easy to clean. Doesn’t really pick up carbon or copper in comparison to other barrels. Quick to heat up and get some mirage though.

I have the same and am very happy with it! For the money I don’t think anything else can touch it.
