  1. N160 here 139gr Scenars 2723fps 0.5 Moa sd9
  2. I spoke to Hampshire firearms dept and they said unless it’s your main job then no, stay in basically, no point in risking my ticket too much investment in it, so I’ll sit it out.
  3. Resorted to my Theoben Rapid 7 in the garden, luckily it’s a big garden, shooting .177 pellets on end to keep my hand in😃
  4. Hi Bob, on the back burner, I run a workshop for a refrigerated van rental company and we are supplying Supermarkets and Pharmaceuticals so i've got my work cut out keeping a 120 vans Running at the moment, hopefully ease off soon and i can get back to tinkering in the Shed. hopefully by the end of the Month i should be back to normal. Kev
  5. Thanks Everybody, I have N120 and N135, I’ll pick up some N133 when we are allowed out again.
  6. Yes, i use it in my 22.250 and in my 6.5 Creedmoor with a 95 Vmax cracking varmint round when it's windy.
  7. Cheers VarmLR, i have 3 kg of RS52, looking forward to having a tinker, at least i'll have plenty of time to do some reloading. if i can get it to shoot as well as my TAC A1 i'll be happy with that.
  8. OK, will do, i'm going to try some 77 TMK'S they seem a popular choice and a few others as well.
  9. Thanks everybody who replied, i have just ordered a selection of projectiles to test, load a few up at different charge weights and see whats what, when we can get back out.
  10. I Just recently purchased a Tikka CTR 24" 8 twist .223 for this very task, unfortunately i can't use it, i haven't even thought about what to run through it, so if anybody has any ideas on a good place to start for a varminting load please enlighten me. i have in stock already 40 gr Vmax 50 gr Vmax i am undecided what i should get in the 60 - 80 gr range any suggestions ? Powder wise i have N120 N135 N140 N160 RS52 i see no problems with Varminting stories, that's why i joined this Sight, i thought the clue was in the name, however it does seem to be more target shooting than varminting, which is a shame, my take on it is, if you don't like it , don't read it scroll on by, luckily we are not all the same. i have received good info and help on here in the past from VarmLR we both run a Tac a1 and he helped with developing a decent load with 139 scenars. anyway that's me. Kev
  11. Not Sure, but i do remember seeing them at the recent British shooting show. so must still be in business.
  12. He has since contacted me and assures me that i will be paid before the end of the week, he's in Scotland somewhere remote and had broken his phone, so i will give him some grace and see what happens.
  13. Hi, just a warning to everybody. i have made mount for a Guy by the name of ROB SMITH who was desperate to have the Zero shift issue sorted with his ENV15 however he's decided to not pay me, won't answer my calls or messages, i done this in good faith and sent it back with no payment as i have done for everybody else on here, because i work on the trust system that as served me well in the past and gives and feeling of goodwill to those who i deal with. this Guy is from the Stockport area , i will stop short of putting up his postal address. but be warned if you have any dealings with this Man make sure you get your money first.
  14. Mines creedmoor. but they are very similar.
  15. Not yet, but i'm using 44gr of RS52 behind the 95 Vmax for 3250 fps 0.6 Moa, i do have N135 i use for my 22.250 which is excellent.
  16. If you followed that video closely, you will have noticed that the Sirius XTL was the only one that didn’t burn the plastics bag even after 10 minutes, the Pard 008 has a HD camera that isn’t very light sensitive, compared to something like an Armasight Drone pro, so using a Led torch on the Pard 008 is pointless because the onboard laser is about 8 -10 more powerful, so if you want to be safe use the Sirius XTL that’s what i use, and Ian claims as long as he’s alive it’s guaranteed Pheonix on the NV forum as already told you this, and if he doesn’t know it’s not worth knowing. the XTL is not the preserve of Add ons, it works well with the Pard008 As well. 17. Nowt wrong with a Tikka Pops
  18. I'm thinking of doing this with my 22.250. 26" barrel 1:8 twist, i will run some numbers through Quickload and how it compares.
  19. You can get under 1 Moa with Both, but the Vit N135 is0.5-6 Moa i haven't had any Foxes complain that it's not fast enough though. i limit myself to 300 yards, so not really a problem. anyway good luck.
