Oh yes, I know Jim well - it's unusual for him to stray so far from home. How was the shooting? Was this a club FTR shoot? We had most of the Atholl and East/West of Scotland guys up at ours last weekend for the Inverness-shire open.
Speaking of which, an unsuspecting Flutterby was just above a competitor's muzzle at the 600yd point at Cawdor during the Sunday morning phase of the recent Inverness-shire Open. The unobservant Flutterby was there just as the shooter pulled the trigger - the resulting aerobatics were quite spectacular and surprisingly the wings didn't come off.
Here on the Moray Coast, rabbits have become quite a rarity, yet 25 milesaway in Nairnshire there are plenty. A couple of decades ago fields aruond here used to heave with bunnies, it can't just be Mixy surely.
Clearly Swarovski Optik think they know the market better than you guys think you do, and they'll have no problem selling them. It's really quite simple guys - if you don't like the Swaovski X5(i) scopes, then don't buy 'em.
