  1. I quite fancy a 22br myself. Is there much work in prepping the brass ? I assume you just run the 6mm brass through a 22br full length die or do you have to neck turn as well.
  2. If I was buying new dies I'd get a Whidden custom set or a forster micrometer seater and a full length die with the neck honed to suit.
  3. I always use moa and can't see myself changing. I never liked ffp reticle scopes either. All my hunting scopes have custom turrets so I just range and dial as needed.
  4. Would these units work better with a high end scope like Zeiss for daytime recording ?
  5. Maybe. I don't really know but Holland's also sell an oversize pin that they say will solve the cratering issue but they don't ship outside USA. I did see some positive reviews online.
  6. Pacifictoolandguage sell an oversized firing pin for the Remington 700 which should solve the problem. Shipping costs are expensive though.
  7. I do believe it's a Remington thing. My Remmy 204 does the same thing with all of my loads. Anyone know how much it costs to get the bolt sorted ?
  8. Hi David Could you give us some more info on your new scope. What are the optics like. How does it compare to your sightron ?
  9. 204 223 22.250 220 swift 243 These calibres are all great for what you want. My personal favourite is the 204 because there is no recoil and I can see my hits through the scope.
