maximus otter Posted February 14, 2015 Report Share Posted February 14, 2015 It's my Sako Finnlight in 6.5 x 55mm: The 'scope is a Schmidt & Bender Klassik 3 - 12 x 50 with the illuminated L7 reticle: My round of choice is this one: I can't be bothered to reload for it as I get far too few chances to shoot deer, and this factory load groups into ½" at 100 yards off the bench. MV is 2,775 fps. It now wears a camo neoprene cover on the ASE North Star mod, BTW. exmarksman9870 Posted February 15, 2015 Report Share Posted February 15, 2015 I mostly stalk roe with my rem 700 bdl dm ss with a bell and carlson a5 stock with s&b jewel trigger...but i have a .270 brno zkk 600 with a swarovski that is about to get a full refurb, stock and blueing that i like to use for the rut or other larger deer...i am in the middle of a rem 700 vssf .223 aics 1.5 stock bushnell 6500 elite tactical timney trigger, for roe (scotland) and mutjack and vermin also... 22/250 foxer Posted February 16, 2015 Report Share Posted February 16, 2015 Glad to see that you haven't given up yet.... cheers i was close to selling everything.but a friend made me change my mind. only have this and 22lr left now though. might sell that in coming months. because the lack of rabbit shooting i have isnt worth keeping this rifle. wouldnt mind another 17 cf or even a 20 calibre of some sort.
