if you use ultrasionic cleaner???

heres one guys just out of noseyness

 

 

 

for those of you who use ultrasonic cleaner on brasses ....

 

how do you "dry" them out after?? let them dry naturally? or what??

Flick the water out, pat dry on a towell, stand them neck down in loading tray and place near some heat overnight (usually next to the woodburner).

I use the wife,s hair dyer and have heared of people putting the case,s in the oven .

i have drilled holes between the case holes in the reloading trays.

i turn them over put the washed cases in neck down and put them on a radiator.

I.. have heared of people putting the case,s in the oven .

 

 

Oven is OK but use low heat (say max 100C) and a fan oven for best results. 20mins usually does the job.

If the temp is too high, you get discolouration of the brass
