GJF
Hi Thinking of getting after market stock for my blaser R93. Budget is limited so won’t be carbon etc.... what do people suggest as new, or is there a 2nd hand market
Bianchi
You didn’t mention the intended purpose but found this at a reasonable price: https://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=12819082 States that they are drop-in replacements for the Off-road, Timber or Professional actions. Available in brown or black with max. barrel diameter of up to 22mm. Other options (at probably twice the price) are GRS or KKC.
lapua
That’s hideous - ugliest stock i have ever seen!
No i deer
Harsh but fair 😁
lapua
The KKC’s are ok, but im not sure of the benefit unless you’re going to heavy barrel and clicky scope. As a normal range hunting rifle i find the R93 pretty much perfect as long as you keep the scope low.
Catch-22
On 3/6/2021 at 8:45 AM, GJF said: Hi Thinking of getting after market stock for my blaser R93. Looks to be their version of the McMillan A5 adjustable tactical stock. If you’re into long range/tactical type shooting, that looks like a sensible option. Looking at the SSS website, they’re pretty good value!
Mossy-dog
I’ve always wondered about SSS - the prices on the website are pretty reasonable but then when you see them for sale second hand (rarely) or anyone speaking about them the price paid at the end seems to be a lot more once you have the extras. Scotch_egg
That was my rifle for sale. I can safely say the SSS stock for very expensive as it was a one off.
