caesium
Anyone had experience of these items for use when lamping? I've searched the internet for a bit and couldn't find anything constructive, anyone have any experiences they would like to share?
garyw
they are not bad -BUT-they are old school look at the range on LUDICROUS LUMENS web page these type of high power "torch" are the thing to have.i used to swear by lightforce lamps and still use one when out with a keeper mate to cover a lot of ground but the small torches take some beating. i have 2 a t67 for spotting and a t50 scope mounted when out solo.good enough to shoot what you see out to 150yds. these are small enough to put in your pocket and dont eat batteries.worth a look on tinterweb for a comparison on prices. Aussie Foxer
I have an Olight SR52 Intimidator, its not scope mounted, i use it for spotting so leave the lightforce and battery pack at home. It runs on 3 x 18650 batteries. Its good out to 750 yards plus on high power. Batteries last for ages and the torch can be recharged without removing them. caesium
I have a T67 but its awkward to use whilst driving. I also have a clulite pistol LED but it just doesn't have the range or focus like the T67. If the T67 could be pistol converted that would be ideal. Cock grouse
The light force with remote handle is better quality than the Deben stuff. I've been using them for nearly 20 year mounted on the top of land rovers and pickups. They take some beating for covering a lot of ground fast.
