Does anyone have any views or experiences of the Hornady Interlock, specifically 6,5mm 129 grain bullet, I was going to try them in a 6,5x47 so assume around 2850fps.

Hi Davy,

I shoot these out of my 6.5x55. Very accurate and excellent performers on game. I shot a muntjac at 40yds and dropped it on the spot. When I dressed it, I was able to preserve the meat all the way to about an inch from the exit wound, in the opposite shoulder. They are my go to bullet for the swede at the speeds you mention.

Best wishes

Davy

I have shot these in the past in my 260 Rem and these chrono'd at 2800 fps.

I recovered this bullet from a small roe buck I shot some years ago. I found these bullets very effective and recovered no other bullets. The downside of these is that different batches can vary quite significantly and I found it a pain to recheck each new batch for performance.

Regards
