But some group sizers would be informative-the best to date can run .3 for shots (what can't at it's best),other reviews have been near 1moa with factory. (what doesn't sometimes!) A representative summary would be welcome-best/worst -or even plain average....over a decent number of shots. Yes I have the nimrod in 308 they are both excellent rifles but if I was going to buy either now I would pick the Ruger as its half the price. Can you confirm the measuring on the other-since the two 'outside' shots do not seem to overlap,there cannot be less than a calibre group (264) and there indeed looks as if there will be a good few thou between those holes....can't see a .233.....has to be 264+ the extras ? Not a criticism,this would be decent shooting for a bench rest gun...just that the Ruger looks very decent,and deserves a true representation. It may all be clearer with some 5 shot groups. How do new owners restrain themselves-I'd be shooting a dozen 5s if they started like this....just to confirm and get confidence... :-) gbal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Whatever the decimal places come in at,that is very fine shooting in a new rifle,with probably limited load development.
