LONG RANGE CAPT
I'm after a AR styled .22 and am wondering which I should get. Key factors are durability, reliability and simple to maintain. I don't want a Ruger 10-22 have had several before and don't want another.
MrCetrizine
I have and adore a M&P 15-22. It now has 25,000 rounds through it with zero malfunctions except for a bad batch of cheap ammo that didn't work in any rifle. Unless you absolutely must have a "real" AR then it is by far the best of the available rifles. If you do want a standard AR .22 conversion then there is always Mr Bradley. I have a friend with a CMMG and that both jams and short strokes so beware of those.

Major Disorder
As above S&W M&P 15-22, lovely bit of kit +1 90% polymer but ultra reliable and infinitely upgradeable.
terryh
LRC 22rf upper for your straightpull would seem the best option you are then practicing with the same setup as your CF AR? Seen the M&P and CMMG 'whole' AR's and they work. Sig 522 if you're after something different? Was not enamoured by the UMEREX/Colt 'thing' - looked like and airsoft clad 22rf T

That'd make your set-up coherently Bradders-tastic too.

GT 73
I recently bought an Anschutz MSR RX22. I think is the first semi auto Anschutz made. I like it so far. Haven't had much range time on it though. Not an AR lookalike more like a mini FN Scar.
1in9
As above S&W M&P 15-22, lovely bit of kit +2 Mine eats all ammunition types from subs to HV, cheap stuff to pricey match ammo, never skips a beat. I went for the Performance Centre model which sports a nice two stage trigger.
