baldie
Here,s one finished this week and fast becoming a sort of "stock" rifle. this one is for sale. Contact for details. Its a DPMS fat walled upper, cnc machined for my side charging conversion, and fitted with a Border Archer 1 in 7" barrel. Fitted with a Valkyrie twin port brake and chambered in .223 wylde. Lower is a High standard mil-spec model and is fitted with a magpul CTS stock and grip. Trigger is a std unit, tuned and resprung to give a 3.5 lbs release. This fits it into practical class weight, or the springs can be changed to give the 4.5 lbs weight for service class. Paintwork is ceracoat H series flat dark earth on the receivers and barrel, graphite black on the brake. Front hanguard is a Midwest industries 15" model. Barrel is 20" long. gunner
Would one of these be any good as a dedicated NV foxer moderated ?
SWShooter
Would one of these be any good as a dedicated NV foxer moderated ? Well its got the picatinny rail, a quad rail would be better so you could fit an IR illuminator , a 14" barrel would make it easier to swing around a 4x4 cab ,collapsible stock helps keep it shorter , I`m sure I would be happy with one as my dedicated foxer
Offroad Gary
Would one of these be any good as a dedicated NV foxer moderated ? There would be better choices, the barrel will be suited to the heavier bullets. Lighter bullets would be a better choice for "hold on fur" foxing using night vision. Lovely looking rifle, have considered one myself but ended up going back to a different kind of straight pull.
baldie
Thats the beauty of the AR platform....it can be whatever you need it to be. I use a Southern gun co AR for several years, for foxing.
