Gundoc
Just been given a Greenkat 22x60 spotting scope, Any good? Glass looks fine, comes with the folding tripod (fastens with a spring clamp) What sort of range will this be good to?
Strangely Brown
The original Greenkat's are over 40 years old now; 22x power should allow you to see 3" inch marking discs at 1000 yards.
Gundoc
Cheers! Had it outside today, checking out the traffic on the road that about 1000yds away, could make out human heads in cars so can't be too bad. Maybe a daft question, at what sort of range will I be able to see 6.5mm holes in targets?

20series
Small bore shooters have used that style scope for years and van quite happily see .22 holes at 100 yards, I've used mine at 1000-1200 and easily seen marker discs Alan
