baldie
Here you go Gary. Mr Chop rocks up at the shop with a rifle I built for him some time back, and an old Wild dog stock, which I had a sneaking suspicion , came through my hands years ago. Brief was to fit a floor plate, bed it in, then fully bed the barrelled action into the scabby old wilddog. A generous coat of Duracoat in several colours later. baldie
No more than anything else. They are always warped however, due to the inletting being moulded in in. Its a poor method, but machining it all out, squaring everything up and proper bedding sorts them out. A very nice stock with a bit of work. Don't know if the company is still going though. Akeld
What happened to wild dog stocks, everyone was raving about them a few years back then dropped off the map, The web page has been under construction for years now http://www.wilddog.com.au/ Shame as that stock looks a belter
baldie
I remember Roger at syss putting in an order for 100 stocks. A year later, nothing had arrived so he finally managed to get hold of the company. It had changed hands and the new owners were not interested in the order.
