mole-e30
Hi All It’s been a while since we have had a benchrest shoot due to poor weather, but today was the final round of the 2014/15 600 yard League. The weather was as expected wet and windy, so first of all thanks to all those that turned up and all those that helped out. Not ideal conditions today, but nevertheless we have to have a go in whatever nature throws at us, so we did. Groups went from small to large and all sorts in between, with a good few penalties thrown in for good measure. Anyway, without further ado, here are the results...... Light Gun 1. Vince Bottomley (22 Dasher) - 4.192" (Average of 4 x 5 shot groups) 2. Bruce Lenton (6.5 x 47) - 4.294" 3. Mal Roberts (6mm Dasher) - 4.360" Small Group - Vince Bottomley - 2.449" Heavy Gun 1. Laurie Holland (7mm Shehane) - 4.662" (Average of 4 x 5 shot groups) 2. Gary Wrighton (6BR) - 5.729" 3. Jack Mills (6.5 x 284) - 8.867" Small Group - Laurie Holland - 3.855" Factory Sporter 1. Darrel Evans (6.5 x 47) - 4.412" (Average of 4 x 5 shot groups) 2. Dale Almond - 6.889" 3. Alan Seagrave (243 Win) - 6.920" Small Group - Darrel Evans - 2.707" Full Results Click Here https://www.dropbox.com/s/2v2hkelq4iqxvab/UKBRA%20600BR%201st%20March%202015.pdf?dl=0 Now to the League.......... Since we lost 2 shoots due to poor weather, the league was decided to be the best 3 results from 4 shoots, so the final results are as follows (maximum points - 30) Light Gun 1. Bruce Lenton - 30 pts 2. Ian Dixon - 26 pts 3. Jeanette Whitney - 24 pts Small Group - Gary Stewart - 1.214" Heavy Gun 1. Gary Wrighton - 29 pts 2. Jack Mills - 23 pts 3. Bruce Lenton - 10 pts Small Group - Bruce Lenton - 1.688" Factory Sporter 1. Darrel Evans - 30 pts 2. Dale Almond - 27 pts 3. Mike Walker - 25 pts Small Group - Darrel Evans - 2.087" Full Results Click Here https://www.dropbox.com/s/09asg5jozsideqo/UKBRA%20600BR%20League%202015.pdf?dl=0 As you can see we have had a great year, with some stunning results and some new records set. The next shoots are the start of the UKBRA 100 and 1000 yard series on the weekend of 4th and 5th April, please turn up and enjoy yourselves.
