Best torch mount?

Gents, Im looking to mount a T20 torch on top of a 30mm scope for foxing on foot. Ill be using the archer as a spotter and would like a robust, good quality quick detachable torch mount so that the torch can be fitted quickly, quietly and repeat ably if necessary. I currently have the LED lenser plastic screw on torch clamp mount which works but is not ideal, Im thinking of maybe a scope mounted picatinny rail with a QD picatinny/torch mount. Scope is a 4-16 x 50 zeiss victory mounted in tps medium rings on a pic rail.

Can someone point me in the right direction of the best quality solution out there? its important that the fixed part of the mount has a low profile so that it doesnt get in the way during normal daytime use without the torch attached.

Thanks in advance

My choice would be a picatinny rail adapter for the scope diamter of your choice, these are pretty much of a muchness and are available here:

On top of that for the torch I would use a either a laserluchs adjustable mount like this:

Or half a set of Burris Signature Zee 1" rings in picatinny, in the height you require, this would be dearer but you would get 2 mounts. Both solutions are rock solid and allow you to zero the torch in the scopes field of view

Or you could buy a high quality set of mounts with a pic rail adapter built in, I have a Sphur set like this but I am pretty sure others sell them as well.

This is what I would do. Era-Tac (which is Recknagel's tactical brand) do really nice one-piece mounts, onto which you can mount a picatinny rail: http://era-tac.de/index.php/en/products/one-piece-mounts/one-piece-mounts. I have one of these and the quality is excellent.

For the torch itself, LaRue do a QD torch mount: http://www.laruetactical.com/larue-tactical-inline-flashlight-mount

I use this one, its adjustable which makes it easy to get right.

I also use these to mount it.

Don't be put off by the price, I have been using both for a couple of years now with no problems at all.

I have a normal 1" mount on the T20 body, the sort with a big nut you can tighten by hand, and have used a rail like the ant supplies ones above. not adjustable but I have not found it necessary. with other torches i have used a similar setup with just a bit of tape for packing if it needed adjustment, I mostly use these ultra cheap ones

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/21mm-31mm-Adjust-Scope-Gun-Mount-Holder-Clip-Clamp-for-25mm-Flashlight-Torch-/161256140475?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item258b9d6ebb#ht_8492wt_904

with a ring on the scope and the rail part on the torch, I'm not sure the T20 fits in the clamp though (thinking again I think it did, but I had to use longer bolts) and anyway I wanted the female part on the T20 to fit on a rail on my spotter.

I use the Ant-sup scope mount + Taclight nm800 mount as it sits lower.
