Drone pro mount.

Hi all

Anyone out there with a drone pro, can you tell me if there's a recoil lug on the mount of the drone pro?

I only have a couple of grooves on my picatinny rail, front and rear, nothing in the middle.

Cheers

Danny.

Bugger, just lost it...... gotta start again.....

Hi Danny,

I'm not sure, not on the face of it unless you've got slots hidden under the mounts.....

You might need another rail to get slots in the right place to mount it and to get the eye-relief........ I use a reversed EGW rail on my Tikka 595 .17Rem and the DP sits in the second slot to support the clamp and put the rubber eye-piece just about level with the stock comb. I don't use a butt extension on this rifle but I do on others...this is a good one:

I haven't worked out which rifle you've got but Baldie was making rear extended rails for certain rifles : http://ukvarminting.com/forums/topic/25581-new-range-of-rails/

Cheers

Fizz you've been an absolute legend for clearing that up for me :)

Looks like I'll need another rail! Hope the drone pro is worth it.

Thanks again mate.

A pleasure Danny and ........ Oh yes. :)

Having used a SunnRanger on mine for IR since I got it I'm now trying an NM800 just to see if I want to get one of the new T50's from Marky. Had a look through Muskett's at the "Not to be missed next year" NV meet the other week and was quite impressed with his X Searcher version. The NM is good so far but I want to stick the red led pill back in that.

Cheers

Nearly forgot...I use one of these to mount the torch:

viz:

and with an extra 1" 'scope mounted bit of rail to mount the 18650 Battery Pack or a DVR (when I ever get round to finding one of the rubber rail mounts to stick on the DVR so it's just a push fit)

The battery pack isn't an essential extra for me as I just turn the 'scope on to take the shot. :) Decent CR123's such as Panasonics are a must (Don't buy the 7dayshop own brand  you'll spend more time changing batteries than looking through the 'scope) and you mustn't use rechargeables in the 'scope itself as you'll bugger it. :o

Cheers
