onelesscharlie Posted October 20, 2014 Report Share Posted October 20, 2014 We recently supplied two of our S Series all stainless moderators for testing at Bisley, the testers were kind enough to video some of the testing and I thought it may be of interest to some of you out there. One rifle in 5.56 and the other in 7.62. On our part we coated the 5.56 unit in a general matt black paint as you will see it almost caught fire perhaps a more robust coating is in order for the future. My .22 Hornet is cut down to just over 12" and my .223 is 13-14" from memory to make them easy to handle in a vehicle and I went through quite a few mods, knackering them with the increased pressure from the short barrels, before settling on the ASE CQB because it was rated for full auto on an M4.
