which scope for a .22lr

Hi all just looking for opinions for a scope for my sako finnfire for target shooting and the odd days hunting my budget is £100 -150 i would like mildot scope with side focus and not to fussed about having glowing crosshairs forget what its called lol

Mtc mamba second hand if youre budget is limited to that figure.

I'll second a used MTC, nice scopes. I have a Viper on my .204 Ruger.

Then I have a Hawke Panorama EV 4-16X50 on my .22lr and it's been great for the last 2 years....

check out the bsa sweet 22 not a great scope but cheap ,enough for a 22 and with your ballistics worked out.worth a look

As previously mentioned either the MTC or Hawke scopes will do, I've got a Hawke sidewinder on my rimmy and it does the job adequately.

I would definitely take a Hawke before a Mamba. I just don't like the reticle on the Mamba units. Glass-wise, there is not much to choose between a Hawke or Mamba with a similar price tag.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions i have decided to go with a Hawke Varmint SF 2.5-10x44 Scope with the half mildot ret hopefully all will work out ok
