jay851
Hi all Only just joined here and recognise a few familiar names. i have been building a chassis stock for my tikka for a while now and have still got a way to go. It is a tikka t3 varmint stainless in 6.5 x 55 swede and will mainly be used for 1000yd at bisley, and will be fed by AI long action mags. will update as i go. atb jay

Akeld
Looks a tidy job, is the shroud just a shroud or does it function as a moderator as well?
jay851
cheers. the shroud is just a shroud, not an integrated mod. another shot in my peli.
Bamboo
Nice work there Jay. What's the knurled bit for under the fore-end? Did you have to modify the AI mag feed lips for the 6.5x55?
jay851
cheers. the knurled bit is a foregrip which still needs an end bracket made, connecting it to the shroud, similar to the cheytac m200. yes the feed lips need bending in a bit, as the 6.5 can almost pop through the gap without the mod and sits quite high like in the pic. baldie
Very nice. As I was looking at it, I though it very reminiscent of the Cheytac.
