Well I thought I'd have a night out lamping tonight with the my new uft20's torches what I bought off of Andy, whent to one of my local perms has I've seen the rabbit numbers building back up. Took the little cz 22lr for a change has I've been loseing confidence in the hmr recently (ammo price.too loud & loseing accuracy ) anyway the little cz was a dream to shoot with the Winchester subs but ran out of them and for the last hour changed to Ely wich she didint like as mutch but as a bonus spotted a small vixen, we try'd sqeeking her in but to no aval she just sut there about 200yrds away so I said sod it lets tAke it to her.we got to about 80yrds & mr Ely said hello

As for the t20"s a carnt beleave how mutch power these little torches have (fantastic torch)

All in all a good night out even tho we lost 6 in the long grass

I must take the little cz out more often

Sorry for photo problems up loading click to inlarge

I have had a drop off in performance with the hmr.17 ammo since last year Rem and Hornaday switched to Fedrall which has proved to be better but still not as good as a year ago More worrying is I've had delayed firing and one stuck up the barrell Luckly I cleared mine out with a rod But I know of two others whoe have blown up! Looks like you had a good night

Ya cheers lads it was a good night there was rabbits everywhere

And when you put the t20 with the red beam on them they froze !

It was a lovely clear night and nice and firm under the foot

Which makes a change for around here ( it's really started to dry up)

Good going mate, plenty of bunny's in your patch, keep it going. The 22rf is a good tool to use, much underestimated by many people!

A very nice bag there -
How long were you out?
Is that a 452 you are using?

I drove past one of my permissions this morning on the way to work... (I know on a Sunday...)
Lots of young, tender bunnies waiting for a lead pill :-)

I need to retire, work gets in the way... oh I forgot, it pays the bills... :-(

Yes bud cz 462 16" it's a pleaser to shoot

But I really need to replace the hawke scope as it's not Ideal for lamping very dark,

Im lucky enough to work on dairy farms

And have about 2000 acers on 6/7 farms

But I'm allways going to different perms,

as I get new ones regular, and I no what's best and when,

and at this time of year on a couple of my perms

The bunnys are deffo in!
