gaz6br
After the heavy wind and rain had cleared we started with Boxing Day night, we hit a few pig farms and got stuck in. We all managed one each me with 223 ackley mate with 222 and other mate with 6br. It was a 2am start through to day brake for a sit out but we did them all on the lamp and I hope we have saved a few more piglets. Next day after a kip I had a call from a local keeper mate who told me he saw a fox why feeding around in the morning so a call to the lads saying wake up we are out tonight lol. We met up down farm jumped on kobota and headed acoss the road to the estate, it wasn't that long before a fox was dropped, that was the only one we saw so we hit a local chicken farm and found another 2 then called it a night Then yesterday was so nice and frosty i rang my mate and arranged to meet him at a farm where so chickens out the yard had gone. We both arrived at the farm for 6am and got set up, I got my fox pro going and it wasn't to long before the first set of eyes were spotted and my 223 ackley sat it on the spot then around 30-40 minutes later another and 223 ackley again sat it down. Just as day was breaking we spotted another but no shot was taken. After that it was time for a full English at the cafe, after that we headed back out it was far to nice to go home. So we went down the range at farm to try the rifle on some targets with my new TH rear bag I've been using and boy am I pleased, it's so nice to use and rock steady. 223 ackley fire form load 53gr vmax 100 yards Then 200 yards Real happy with all round performance Then my mate did his 6br at 200 yards TH rear bags GOOD, rest of the day shooting pigeons out some trees in a valley around 200 to 250 yards.
