Yet another .308

Its one of those months... :lol:

 

Everything is .308 flavour.

 

Finished this little beauty today.

Its a .308 Odin , fitted with a Border Archer , fluted barrel at 20". Screwcut 18mm x 1 and invisible capped.

Small badger style bolt knob , and the metalwork is finished in H series OD green Cerakote , the black is Armour black cerakote on the bolt.

 

20 MOA rail and a jewell trigger.

Mod is an ASE Utra , again , in Cerakote OD green to match.

The stock is a McMillan Lazzeroni in woodland cammo and is fully bedded with marine tex and a DBM fitted and 5 round mag.

Love this stock, its curves are lovely.

 

A nice , lightweight stalker .

Took it up to Diggle yesterday on a very unpleasant Day, it was windy and chucking it down.

 

Spent a pleasant hour chatting to Vince and getting wet !

 

Anyway, shot and cleaned the gun for two rounds then fired the top 5 shot group, which was OK for a first group. Cleaned it again and watched as it tightened up on the second , 5 round group. A very good starting point I think.

 

Then ran out of ammo..... :lol:
