What brand of brass have best consistancy ?

RWS , Norma ?

Where have you purchased them from ?

plan to start reloading with varget

Anybody got consistency with 162 amax in 7x57 using varget

Finally anybody selling gear for 7x57 , brass, dies and OAL gauge , RCBS , Wilson or redding

Thanks

Ruag import both norma and RWS brass. Both should be o.k i would go for RWS as i have had some issues with missfires with norma brass. I would also look at a different powder than varget at the moment as it is like rocking horse poo.

Dies are cheap enough new RCBS, Dillon, Forster and Redding all make neck and FL for this calibre.

Bullets are readily available.

Ive just picked up some once fired RWS 7/57 for little money and it is perfect.

Im making a 275 Rigby for myself which will be ready in a few weeks..

No need to modify the shell holder, just get the #3 size and it works perfectly. That way you still have the #2 for the other brands of brass

Best wishes

I guess Alan will be using a 275 reamer, why not ask him to make you dies as well instead of using 7/57 dies

Sorry perhaps Alan will chime in

I bought as a starter an old Churchill 275 Rigby

He is rebuilding it to London best standard

It's also going to be a stutzen and the barrel has been reduced to 20 inches and it shoots tight on factory ammo

So that's the starting point

Sounds lovely, although I'm not a fan of Stutzen's
