They think nothing of 1000yds with these things unless it's really blowing. Greg once bowled two deer in successive shots- first one at 1410 yds and the second 1425. The Aussie guys with him who he was guiding immediately booked a return trip, such was their astonishment. The whole extreme-range scenario is not something anyone should have a go at without serious experience and the very best of equipment. These guys live and breathe it. I shot a maggie at 352yds on Sat afternoon and realise it's not in the same league as what these guys pull off routinely Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
