New F Class Bipod from Third Eye

Recommended Posts

We recently received our first few bipods from Third Eye Tactical. I thought i would post up a few pics of it for you guys to take a look at.

It comes with adapters for QD studs and accessory rails. The QD stud version uses a steel block that is placed over the stud and a pin then passed through it. The alloy adapter body is then positioned over the top of the block and two machine screws are tightened down to clamp the bipod against the stock, much like the method the Harris Bipod uses.

An accessory rail adapter is also supplied and is attached to the adapter body using the two machine screws.

Once the chosen adapter is in place, the bipod body can slipped over the threaded stud and the large locking handle screwed down. The handle can be released from the nut to allow it to be positioned wherever you find it most convenient. The red button is simply pressed and the lever moved to the position you require.

Loosen or tighten this lever to preload the cant. It can be tightened to lock it in place.

Elevation is controlled by the large alloy 4 spoked thumb nut between the legs. Elevation is quickly achieved from virtually flat to 22cm ( measured from adapter to ground)and can be locked off using the nylon thumb wheels on each leg.

The whole set up weighs 750 grams and is manufactured from aircraft grade alloy and best of all its made in Britain !!
