ejg223
Built two all carbon E-Tacs for F/TR. Awkward conversion to bed the Barnard P bed block in a rem 700 inlet. The little Anschuetz rail was not just fitted, we added an insert into the mould to shape the carbon around the opening and therefore having max strength and torsion stiffness of the bipod. The blue stock weighs as is with adjustable recoil pad and bed block 1450 grams. Raw stock is around 900 grams. Rifle work done by Francie McFadden. edi

Chris-NZ
Purple?? Didn't know hairdressers used F-Class guns That blue is roughly the same as the blue on my McMillan-stocked NRA gun except yours is much shinier Edi I think I see one stock has a slight taper drop on the heel while the other is parallel? Ronin
If the FTR stock forend was lengthened and shaped in the style of a GB F Class stock......to allow to be fitted into rest and lower portion inletted to ride on "rails"......and take a P action.....looks a little snug in the current Remy stock Hell, they do look good though :D
ejg223
Thanks for the feedback, Chris, sharp eyes. yes Normally the E-Tac's rear is parallel with the underside of the forend, like my liitle 243 below. The two F-Class shooters wanted the rear ride parallel to the bore. The purple was a wish of the new owner who previously had a tricked up TRG. BD, think we'll put up a poll for the colour if you ever think of getting one... turquoise metallic mmmmm These two stocks were actually the first time I had ever sprayed a metallic paint. Ronin, we were thinking of doing an outright F-Class stock at some stage. Don't worry I'll pester you for design help once we get going. At the moment we are trying to get some experience with the TR lads. I'm hoping to get some feedback on the recoil behavior and accuracy, as the centre mass of these rifles is at a different position compared to rifles with conventional stocks. By the way, Peter my son who is holding the rifle actually made these stocks with me. Peter is possibly the best I have seen at composite mould work. His concentration is unreal. edi
