Now this would be a very useful piece of equipment for anyone shooting long range. Only the other day I was struggling to spot 6mm holes at 300 yards due to mirage and I'm using a S&B 12-50x56 PMII!

I was just about to bash the credit card when I saw the price of $425, I then noticed that it only worked out to 100 yards. The 1000 yard unit cost $725 which works out at £450, if I could get one for that price I might just have been persuaded, but I doubt I would see much change out of £750 in real terms.

A couple of You tube Link's showing them in use.

Here's another one, apparently this company is to be avoided.

There's a lot of reading and how to make one yourself on here, shame my technical skills stop with baler twine and large hammers.

I bet there is an "app" for doing that somewhere! seriously I'm supprised someone hasn't come up with an idea for sending distant target pictures directly to your phone, I wouldn't have thought it would be to difficult for a techno geek to do.

Have thought about this in the past. The thing that is going for you is you're line of site so you can use directional ariels = less power required.

Might have to revisit this!
