brown dog
Are the target's at known distances or will we have to range them ? Colin, A mix of known and/or 'laserable'. Lasers permitted throughout -there'll be no mil-dot ranging required. (If you haven't got a laser, I'm sure someone on the same detail will be happy to range targets for you). brown dog
Aaaaaagh! Just been pointed out to me that the current date clashes with the IWA exhibition. Thought I'd checked all the angles Likely to re-schedule to 26 Mar to de-conflict. I'll press pause until this is straightened out. Apologies! brown dog
I just got the date cleared with my boss Dave, 1000 apologies! I'm the last to do the order - counter-order - disorder thing; and I'm spitting feathers at having overlooked the IWA. My fault, just wasn't on my radar. I hope you can change it to the new date; I'll buy you a beer and mumble another apology Just confirmed with WMS; date change to Sat 26 Mar is nailed-on. brown dog
All, 1,000 Apologies; as in the preceding post I've had to shift the date two weeks to the right as it's just been pointed out to me that the original date clashes with the IWA exhibition. Can't believe I'm having to fundamentally re-tweak within 24hrs of posting the original proposal. Thought I'd checked all the angles Entirely my fault, as the IWA wasn't on my radar. The comp is now re-scheduled for Sat 26 Mar and this new date is pencilled for us by WMS.

Scotch_egg
Matt, I'm preying there is nothing planned for the 26th. But with my job you never know. I'll check in the morning. However my dad can make it on this date. So I have ask will me dad be ok using his single shot rifle?
brown dog
Dave, Single shot rifles will be at a disadvantage as some stages will require multiple targets within a time limit. Might challenge 'winning' but won't challenge 'enjoying'. All, Should also point out that: not all shoots will be prone not all shoots will be strong shoulder and there maybe a requirement to change positions between shots (eg standing unsupported changing to kneeling supported changing to prone or variations thereof )
rabbit fingers
standing unsupported with a 16 pound rifle better get the weights out.
