DL.
The site's so damn vague. "Currently there are certain countries that we cannot ship to via USPS because of insurance reasons. However, we can ship UPS Worldwide Express or UPS Worldwide Expedited, which are much faster services." http://www.opticsplanet.net/upic.html
Chris-NZ
From what I understand, anything resembling a mil-type scope won't be exported for fear of attracting the unwanted attention of BATF or other Fed authorities Chris-NZ

Streeker59
Thanks Dave... I have a mate in Florida at the mo and he want's a target scope himself. Every dealer he goes into have nothing but hunting scopes and look at him like he has two heads when he asks for something with target turrets.. Just shows that the grass aint always greener.... Streeker59
I was looking at ebay last night and the very scope i'm after has turned up via an american seller. £266 inc postage aint bad at all. Ok at that price it's not leup or schmidt quality but there's no way i can justify £1000 + for a scope nowadays... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400169682112&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Vermincinerator
Good price Grant, both my Leupold and my Sightron came from US ebay sellers, the Leupold 3 years ago and the sightron 2 years ago when the exchange was in our favour, i saved a heap of money against buying here.
