  1. Scotch, just take your time doing it and it will work fine . My thinking obout using a short mag is less sticking out, and a lot less to snag on when your out using your stick.👍
  2. Alright Scotch, had it from the states.Had a hour yesterday with some 800 grit, its as smooth as glass 😁 .Got stung for duty but never mind. I can use AW and Aics in new action so i will give these awhirl and try 10 shot Aw only thing will be is i will have to change mag release catch for AW mag. With the Aics mag there is not a lot of protrusion out of the magwell so pleased with the end result , 😁
  3. Just had mag conversions delivered, top lips on mag are scratching the brass. As any one done sanding on steel to smooth out feed lip imperfections 👍

  7. Thanks for your advice, but im not looking at a .223 case in 224 Its a 6mm GT case necked to .22. Not every ones cup of tea 😁
  8. Let me reiterate, the action im having can use Aics and Aw mags. But as to if i put pressure on mag system ie rest on mag ,i am led to beleive , i might have bolt drag runnig IACs, and if Aw i dont 👍.can you measure your Aw catch cheers Lee
  9. Hi there gents , is the mag release on a Aics mag shorter than a AW mag 10 SHOT, in my HABU it runs Aics mags , so if i want to run AW mags will i need a longer mag catch to run the mag , cheers Lee
  10. I have been using , this Acebeam k75 for walking lamping foxes very affective, fitted camera handle. Beast of a throw 😁

  14. Hi there, what freebore would i need on .224 75g and 80g bullet. The bullets are Hornady 75g and 80g ELD match. 1-8 twist Why im asking is that i have to spec this when ordering new reamer And could i , if i want shoot hornady 53g v max in the same chamber Below are bullet lengths , cheers Lee
