My new powder trickler works well and is a bit quicker than the Omega and RCBC 10-10 I was using before.

Very accurate with 1.530g (23.6 Grains) set it stops to within +/- 0.001g which is one kernel of powder.

How do they perform with wet moderators, by that I mean with a moderator totally immersed in a liquid. Sound attenuation may be better but given the viscosity of any fluid that is thicker than air the quoted BCs for blanks may not be valid in any of the reloading manuals so calculating drops and windage required may result in unexplained misses on targets across all ranges.

Is the central mild steel post on the duelling tree replaceable if damaged by a mis-aimed HV bullet? Duelling trees are great fun with pistols but I'd like to be able to shoot at one at 150 to 200 yards with a full bore rifle without worrying too much about damage.

Despite their shortcomings they are sought after rifles and were particularly popular with Practical Rifle shooters for quite a while, they have, however, been overtaken by straight pull AR15 variants on the whole.
