Any news on when i might get them?

Are defibrillators available on site or can i suggest Howdah's for the seniors? 🙂

Ive joined Gardners this year for the first time, and by my reckoning to get there by 7:30AM I'll need to leave at Midnight! So a list of good Local B&B's would be wellcome.
PS: If you think thats stupid, I also fish the Rivers Ness and Nairn in the Autumn for Salmon, so the Borders are almost local.

Frotunately the most of any one calibre i've shot in a session is less than 50 so my allowance is large enough to keep 50 odd primed

As has been said already, there is no issue with priming brass ahead of time. They don’t degrade.
I personally love to prime ahead of time, I do it with all my brass. I buy primers in big bulk and I’ll prime a quantity of brass if there’s something particularly slow on tv. It reduces the time spent loading actual rounds, which is helpful for me.Ditto: I also find i make less mistakes if i load in stages.

Thanks Guys.
Anyone got any Barrel balnks for sale? 🙂
-
I’ve got a Tikka M55 .223 super sporter that still has its original barrel (1:12 twist rate ?) Anyway as the barrel is at least 40 years old its due for a change.
I want to be able to shot with it to at least 600 yards ( at the moment it wont register on electronics at Bisley) so my question is what barrel length and twist rate should I be looking at?PS: f any of the Gunmakers on here have an apprenetice that needs a rifle to practice on, i'm happy to oblige! 🙂

>>I'll carry on FL sizing without the decapper/expander ball fitted. Then size the neck with my mandrel die
Exactly what i do for 6.5CM

I've managed to shoot throughout the inter-lockdown period without getting anywhere near members of NRA staff.
The online booking system & electronic targets have made this very easy, and long may it continue.

Amen to that!

Well Im off there (NCSC) tomorrow for a bit of OT practice, I have cartridges and enough credit on my membership card, meaning I wont actually have to talk to anyone.

I certainly dont blame the NRA, hopefully it will reopen tuesday.

To update my own post..
https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/golf/golf-tier-4-london-courses-open-b1776595.html
Both courses and driving ranges will be allowed to remain open in Tier 4 areas in England, with the government confirming that “outdoor sports courts, outdoor gyms, golf courses, outdoor swimming pools, archery/driving/shooting ranges, riding centres and playgrounds” will not be closed.

Now Im confused!
The NRA statment about the closure has disapeared, and my local golf course ( tier4) was packed this morning when i walked the dog. Interesting update on golf which I guess could apply to shooting?

TBH, I took a cheeky couple of hours off yesterday morning and had 150 clays on the pay and play.

I shot 900y electronic at Bisley yesterday.. the last time I shot 900 I had a string of 9 consecutive V Bulls, then last week I was at 300y 10V bulls in a row.. I have the photos 🙂.
This week, same rifle, same ammo, one lane away, same Dope. First shot not even in the black. check everything tight all Ok, Sterlok readings OK. Dial in a correction well at least i doubled by score to a 2. try again. At the end of about 20mins I had produced almost an exact facimille of a shot gun pattern plate. 2 take aways..
Ain't wind a bitch, and Im nowhere near as good as i hoped I was!

How quickly do you need it? Ive just got membership at Gardners at Im at Bisley at least once a week. So if its not urgent i could bring it up in the new year. Conversley i'm happy to pick it up and post it for you?
Im there tomoroow for Olympic trap.

Gents, Im one step nearer crossing the 1 mile off my bucket list. Having found somewhere to try, I need to sort out the equipment side of things.
Before I splash out £0000's on a new rifle, optic, dies etc.. I'd like to try with my 6.5CM, but im going to need a bit help. Ive got a 20moa rail on the CM but acording to Sterlok im going to need roughly another 25MRad of elevation and my scope has a theroetical max of 20ish.
Id like to keep the ability to shoot/zero at 100y, so whats the best otion for an adjustable rail? The Charlie TARAC micro looks a good option but can you get it in the UK?

3 on https://www.guntrader.uk/ and a lovely Purdy @ https://www.holtsauctioneers.com/
However 28" and Damascus might be an issue.

I always single feed and Im a bit particular about the stock, (In a big GRS fan) so just buying a barreled action appeals.

New Lapau brass in 300PRC incoming..

Seriously thinking of getting a Howa in 300PRC for my efforts to shoot steel at 1mile.

Cheers, I think I might apply for membership anyway. The river Ettrick is just up the road and its a good Salmon river if the water is the right height. Drive up on the Friday, fish on the Saturday shoot on the Sunday. I can think of worse weekends.
