Thanks all, I prefer FFP Meopta is looking good. i have spoken to optics warehouse they have some good deals on as per. marky mark, those are the ones I am looking at. Good prices for what they are the optika 6 is swaying my mind a little seems a lot of scope for the money.

Ronin, one on top of two. thank you Schmidt and bender points noted. Having used the Schmidt and bender it is a great scope. But having used them at work for the best part of the last twenty years from the old 6x42 up to the 5-25. Although only occasionally sporting a beard when water was low. And hated shemaghs, much prefer the DPM snood. Not very fashionable but comfortable. And certainly weathered more through my years sunbathing Coated in baby oil rather than hard work. I like to put something different on my own rifles, I have a nice NX8 whinging it’s way slowly from the states. Thought I would give Leupold’s new offering a try. The outsider at the minute is the Meopta Optika 6. Quite well priced just not many in use here yet.

Looking at opinions on the Leupold Mk5 or 6 scopes in general. Have also contemplated a Optika six with calibre specific reticle. likeley going on a stalking/ occasional target rifle. or what else would you recommend. 1. Must be dialable 2. budget up to 2k 3. Illuminate or not not fussed. 4. Tube size unimportant will need new rings either way.

it’s been in Cluny a while. I was going to keep it and have it retreaded. But more mod than I need. I have a SL5 instead. I have it at 200 quid I think. Give robin or Robbie a call tomorrow. They would have it shipped down to you Monday if you want it. I am sure it is 5/8 by 18. To had planned to use another mod I had at 5/8 by 24 which didn’t fit. the rethreading if needed still makes the moderator a bargain.

I have a 30 cal ase SL7 sat with my RFD for sale. It has done next to nothing less than 30 rounds of 300 Wm. I think the thread was 5/8x 18 Remington sendero thread. It’s sat with Cluny country guns in fife. I think having it retreaded is 42 quid. great moderators but more than I needed when I went from 300 wm to 6.5 as a target rifle.

Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 ERS 34mm G2. Has a few minor marks on it from being fitted to a rifle but it’s in near new condition.Changing down to a 30 mm scope cash preferred but open to a swap on a Nightforce NXS not fussed on the cosmetics.I also have a one piece mount I believe Badger ordinance that I can throw in for 150 there is a screw missing from the mount hence the bargain price. It is the tactical model with 6 screws in either bracket.Scope 800 posted mount 150. If both taken together 900.Prices are posted.

The turrets look like Mark 4. Leupold has a website where you can check the serial number. the mark 4 is one of the most copied/faked scopes in the world. have your mate check the serial number. They are decent scopes.

Very good condition bergarra HMR bedded in to a a PSE Tactical stock. In 6. 5 cm A light and very comfortable rifle to use. Just not enough time to use the 6.5 As I don’t reload the most expensive to shoot is the rifle that must go. It has had very little use. The PSE stock is excellent I have another one on order for my 308. The stock required some bedding work done as I bought it used. Ronin on here bedded the stock, bottom metal and action in a very good job. The rifle is a solid dependable and accurate in the calibre if the day at bargain prices. 1650 rifle is 1150 new Stock 800 Bedding 200 Bottom metal 200 Mags 80 each 250 Plus RFDs to have it bedded Pictures are not the best I’m afraid more by email or watsapp if requested.
