The seniors offerings look interesting, the Hik also seems to get great reviews. I have been thinking thermal for a while, I’m happy to sit on my NV for the time being. The Hik is my current favourite

A painful sales post but needs must or lack of. A used 7 mm rem mag sauer 404 xt. This rifle was bought for trips overseas on Boar and the occasional red stalking trip. I now find myself reaching for the 6.5 for all my U.K. stalking and have a 308 in mind for overseas trips. This rifle has a round count of atrium 250 and comes with Sauer 404 xt 7mm barrel bolt head and magazine. Sauer SUM mount and 30 mm rings ( 500 quid alone now) Ase Ultra SP5 moderator. The rifle shoots touching groups at 100 m with Sako/geko and RWS ammo. If I could justify keeping it I would but as I’m doing more fixing now I’m looking to build a dedicated fixing outfit and need to create the space. The rifle has been used and is by no means a cabinet queen, however it is in very good condition. It also has a QD stud professionally fitte dot allow a bipod to be attached. In my opinion the pinnacle of firearm engineering. 2035 transferred to your RFD or face to face, the ammo makes the difference face to face. Happy to meet up in Scotland to try before you buy with proof of a certificate. Open to a part exchange on either a thermal scope or a decent quality stalking scope. Is it a standard quad or a quad range ? What stock ?

Not a lot in that price bracket, my opinion money would be best spent on a tikka T3 or t3 x varmint or CTR used and a used scope. upgrade the tikka over time as funds allow.

Thank you for the post. I agree it is the best glass I have used by a decent margin. I keep talking myself in to sticking it on a stalking rifle. It is just more glass than I need. Treat yourself to a second ZCO ? if not I’m sure someone will be along eventually.
