Got one of the Teslong jobs also - does the job for sure.
Hot loads of RS60...throat as expected, no noticeable degradation in performance however.
Bought to check how my (lack of) cleaning regime is working out (carbon rings, general crud build up), not to get hung up on how spiral staircaseed things look.

This link works for me - http://www.bbt.scot/ballistics/pressure.htm
BlueBoy - which way was the data you got off - too high or too low for velocity and pressure?
My RS60 6.5CM load is (considerably) down on pressure/fps compared to real world actual and QL estimate. But as neither calc accounts for LRP v SRP its probably not the best example; QL doesn't account for SRP brass but the estimated output is inline with my SRP velocity, in spite of SRP usually needing at least an extra grain/grain and a half to achieve LRP fps.

Was fine from the link earlier, for some reason its adding a load of random characters into the address when clicked or copy/pastad now, some kind of naming issue.
If you type in the address manually or delete all the crap in the address that appears, it should load ok (or does for me in firefox/opera/chrome).

What brass is that, Scooby? Lap srp or?

Been fairly well stacked here in West Berks/North Hants, has been the last 3 years+. Guarantee an easy 25+ in an hour or two 5 minutes up the road on 100 acres of grazing, have to do a fair bit of running from cows mind...cause spiral staircase cows!

I used the 20grn in my .17 Hornet and they were far more consistent than the .20 or 25Grn VMax.
I ran them with DO63, and also tried them with N110 and N120. All gave excellent results.
Was that the hollow points or tipped Varmageddon chap?

Is much of the REACH-ok Hogdon stuff coming into the UK these days?
-
They haven't been on since 2017 either, so ring them 😜 They hold a lot of stock from experience, though you kind of feel like you're doing them a favour giving them your money sometimes...

Pretty sure the two I bought were about 55-60 quid a year or two back - must be cheaper somewhere?

FCSA seem confident they will be operating the range and shooting there in the near future from their statement on bookface...

Most Hogdons (and many other powders) don't comply with REACH, an EU chemical regulation, so they arent imported to the UK anymore.
With 25gr Vmax I think I finished up at 11.2gr of D063 in my 527. I would start closer to 10gr - as others have said 0.2gr is a huge increase in a hornet case compared to larger cals, and pressure can increase very quickly.

My feeling about HMRs is the same as .22LRs - the choice of gun doesn't make much difference, you just need to get lucky finding ammo that works in whichever you buy and then buy as much of the same lot as poss. I have a 1417 .22 and a Lithgow HMR which I'm very happy with - but they don't shoot any better than my mates CZ's in the same calibres, or another chaps Sako and Browning something-bolt. If I was buying again I'd probably get another Tikka due to the T3 foot print and the weight as my Lithgow is fairly hefty.

Got some off the 'bay foe my LEM, 12 months later theyre still...stainless.

Ditto Berkshire 😕
Also, no problem with moderated 20cal being picked up, 17H is the only thing I sometimes have probs with.

What chrono did you use out of interest? you are shooting a 20" Tikka, right?

you're only .2 of a grn over start load at 25.6
Is that from the Sierra book? Viht give a max load for N133 and 40vmax as 25.3gr on their app, dunno where my Sierra book is but dont recall N133 being listed for 204.
-
Whereabouts are you?
-
25.6gr of N530/BR4s is about 3500-3600 from recollection in my 20" T3. Wouldnt get too hung up about fps. The 39SBKs are a great bullet.

Might be useful, obviously just one guys methodology, others I'm sure will have different opinions.

If you have large sacks of cash lying about, get a LEM https://www.henrykrank.com/lem-plus-electromagnetic-brass-case-cleaner.html
20-30 mins is long enough to get mostly very clean shiny brass.

T3 with modified AICS mags should be fine, my 6BRA feeds flawlessly, even with the 40deg shoulder.

Look out for a cheap Pulsar Helion XQ38F, they're about the benchmark for performance/cost, or an older Quantum XQ50 or XQ38.
The HD units on ebay are fairly long in the tooth now, both will be 25 micron units - and are pretty expensive for what they are. I know of a couple of XQ50s sold in the last few months for £900-1000 which are far superior, I'd put feelers out on the various foxing etc pages on bookface, see if anyone's looking to upgrade etc
