  1. As above folks, I don't want to work up a new load, and waste valuable powder I don't have to waste! So does anyone have the above Federal primers, that they would be willing to sell, or swap for the above Murom primers. PM me if you do have a swap, or have a few hundred to sell as a last resort, not too far from South Worcester. Cheers. Chaz.
  2. As above folks. I'm picking up some Viht N150 from Livens this coming week, and I was hoping to get some primers.. My choice would be the Small Federal Gold Match GM205M primers. Unfortunately Livens have no primers at all... Does anyone know of an RFD that is reasonably close to Livens, so I could call them, and maybe pop in when I've collected my powder?? I do have over 900 Murom KVB-223 Magnum SRP. And 100 KVB-7 standard large rifle primers to use in my Sako brass. But as both require starting again with load data, I'd prefer to travel a reasonable distance to get the Small Federal Gold Match GM205M primers. And more large primers... Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Cheers. Chaz.
  3. Hi Will, You have a PM regarding me buying the grip. Cheers Chaz.
  4. I just wish I could find a range within reasonable distance from me!. Try finding a club/range with lanes over 600 yards that has electric targets in the South Worcestershire area that doesn't cost over £100 in return fuel costs. I don't drive a sports car. In fact it's supposed to be a so called "Hybrid".... In fact try finding any range that has facilities for disabled target shooters.......
  5. Pink Floyd. (Were) The Best Band on the planet! Comfortably Numb, Echoes, Just to name a couple of amazing tunes!
  6. Do you think adding brasso makes much of a difference, and how much do you use? Cheers.
  7. Just a quick question folks. As above, Would it be ok to put a few drops of car wax, or any other polish (Brasso?) into walnut media when using my dry tumbler? I've seen it being done on You-Tube, and heard people say they do. But I'd like a few opinions before I think of doing it. So some constructive opinions, Or better still experiences would be appreciated. My concerns are, getting wax in the case, so creating more work by then having to clean them in my Ultrasonic.... Cheers. Chaz.
  8. Very nice! I kind of wish I had held off buying my Tikka TAC 1 and bought this!! Good luck with the sale.👍
  9. Lol. Wish I could! But who knows how bad its going to get! I'd do a swap for Fed gold match srp's. But I can't see that happening either. Certainly not in driving distance anyhow!
  10. I'm with Bruce! A permanent NV system!
  11. Hens Teeth in Worcester area from what I see... Or I could buy CCI BR SRP for £16.00 per 100...... I have a 1000 Murom Magnum SRP's. But they don't suit my gun. So I'm using up what small amount of Federal Gold Match SRP I have left.....
  12. Here you go. Calton Moor Range, Calton Moor Farm, Swinscoe, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 2BU. 01538 308 697 / 07721 671 746 michael.dickinson2@btopenworld.com Cheers Chaz
  13. Hi folks. I've made a huge balls up with my new Frankford Arsenal "Case Trim and Prep Centre" I cut the USA plug of it and check which colour went where. After putting a UK plug on it, I turned it on, and had the magic smoke filled the room. After this I looked on the bottom and is said it can only be used with 120 volts and 1.3 amps. What a fool I feel..... Anyway.... I've removed the burnt out AC motor and wiring. I intend on using another motor, but a DC motor type and lithium Ion batteries. As the motor shaft is fine, I intend to use it. And as I build and fly RC aeroplanes I'll still be able to use it with a brushed or non brushed motors. Which I have a lot of. What I need is a 2" long piece of alloy bar stock, Or something similar, like brass that is around 15mm in diameter. I need a 6mm hole drilled into the one end around 1" deep that will slide over the drive shaft and the other end also drilled 1" deep for the motor shaft, But the motor shaft needs to only be drilled out by 3 mm wide so it will slide over the motor shaft. I then need both ends of the alloy to be drilled and tapped 3mm on the side, in order to use an M3 bolt to secure the motor shaft to the drive shaft of the 2" bar stock. Just to point out the the bar stock can be wider and longer if needs be, I hope that makes sense?? Obviously I will pay for you time. Hears hoping!! Cheers Chaz. Also help request on another site
  14. As above folks. I'm thinking of getting a Lee Loadmaster, but would like a few opinions from people who have or do use then. No too bothered about the powder hopper set up as would use my beam scales. Also, I presume It can accommodate most make dies? I'd even go for the 4 die set-up, but recall it's name....? Cheers. Chaz.
  15. Anyone else have the definite shaft size of the Forster trimmer shaft that the hand cranking handle screws on to.??
  16. Thanks Bolte. Much appreciated. 👍
  17. Hi folks, although I own several case trimmers, I do like my Forster with the Chamfer and De-bur head on it. The only issue I have nowadays, is due to my disabilities..... I find it hard and painful to hand crank continuously if I have say 50 pieces of brass to do. I have all sorts of bits lay around in my garage, so I could easily knock out an attachment to the trimmer handle then a bit of flexible pipe to a small cordless screwdriver i have. The only thing I could do with is the size of the shaft thread, once the handle is unscrewed off. I think it may be 9/16 by 24. But I would really appreciate it if somebody could confirm this, or tell me what the thread pitch is? Constructive advice appreciated. Cheers Chaz.
  18. Hi folks, Is it a good switch to Sinclair/Wilson long term. or better to stick to my standard dies and press.....?? I really like the Sinclair/Wilson kit. But is it worth all the hassle in changing..... The presses are a total rip-off as regards the price' IMHO".... Arbor presses not for shooting are so much cheaper!! And If the dies are as good as they claim, do you really need to spend such a high price compared to a basic non shooting arbo press?? I have seen people use Wilson/Sinclair dies and their standard presses, which seem to work... Some constructive advice would be appreciated. Cheers. Chaz.
  19. Yea, ultimately, I will need to call Mike. But it's always good to go in prepared. Just a shame you have to go back up ground to change targets.... Even a string on a wheel would be sufficient. And easy to use/maintain such a basic set up... I hope the target attachments/holding will hold my cardboard backing so I can attach 4 or even 6 different A4 size targets for load development purposes. I haven't got the equipment to whip up new loads equipment. No doubt owners of Wilson equipment and similar will do. ..
  20. I think it's £20 per hour per lane. Would I be able to bring a family member as I'm disabled?? He just does the fetching and lifting. He wouldn't be shooting.?
  21. That's a shame. Thanks for the info. Chaz.
