  1. Hi Guys,I have a brand new, in box, never mounted (still has the factory seal intact on the tube, which you need to remove before you can mount it), Strike Eagle 5-25x56.It's the MOA/MOA model, with the newer EBR-7C reticle in the FFP.Here's a link to a similar scope on Optics Warehouse: https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/vortex-strike-eagle-5-25x56-ffp-ebr-7c-moa-sf-ir-rifle-scope The only reason for sale is that I think I'd prefer to get another PST gen. 2, or another Razor gen.2...I'm asking £750 posted to mainland UK. No offers please - I know what I've got and exactly what it's worth!
  2. Hi Guys, I have a mint Tract Toric HD 4.5-30x56 MIl/MIL ELR reticle which I'd like to swap for a mint Vortex Razor HD gen. 2 4.5-27x56. I'm not bothered whether the Razor is MIL/MIL or MOA/MOA, but an EBR-2C or EBR-7C would be preferred. Thanks, Cam.
  3. My advice would be to avoid anything with a large magnification range (go for 3-9x or 4-16x for instance, rather than 4.5-27x etc.), because the reticle designers have to make the reticle chunky enough to be visible at the low mags, that by the time you increase the magnification it's like looking through a chessboard (the IOR Recon 4-28x50 is a perfect example of this). If the designers prioritise a fine reticle at full mag, then you end up with a reticle that is too fine to see at lower mags. The Schmidt & Bender P4FL is a well balanced design, only the floating centre crosshair illuminates, and at 3x it's like looking through a red dot sight like an EOTech or similar. Also Vortex's EBR reticles scale well, but they fully illuminate the entire Christmas tree, which can be a bit distracting in low light.
  4. Is a 30-06 AI basically the original 300PRC, before Hornady threw some of their marketing budget at it?
  5. Hi Guys,I have a mint Pulsar Trail XP50 thermal riflescope for sale.Genuine reason for sale.I've been advised that £2,600 inc. P&P is a fair price for a private sale. Mainland UK only thanks!
  6. Hi Guys, I have a brand new pair of SIG Sauer Kilo 3000BDX laser range finding binoculars, with the original factory seal still intact, for sale. They've got the Applied Ballistics solver built in to them, and the smartphone app is super-intuitive to use. Being BDx, you can pair them with a SIG Sauer BDX scope or a Kestrel 5700 Elite with Link, for live weather/wind direction updates. Very capable and accurate ballistics solutions, displayed directly in the RHS barrel. These are £1,295 new, and I'm asking for SOLD which I've been advised is a fair price. Mainland UK only!
  7. Hi Guys,I’m looking to change some stuff around…I have a mint Schmidt & Bender PM II 5x25x56 CCW DT FFP-1/4MOA P4FL riflescope, and I’m considering swapping it for:• Straight swap for a mint Swarovski X5i 5-25x56 (1/8MOA Plex reticle preferred)• Swap with cash my way for a mint Vortex Razor Gen. 2 4.5-27x56 (EBR-2C/EBR-7C reticle in MOA or MRAD)If you have any of these scopes, and you fancy the chance of owning THE proven precision riflescope against which all others are measured, then PM me with photos and I will reciprocate? My PM II has had a very easy life and has be mounted in a Spuhr mount (not included) and has always been torqued to suggested specs to ensure no pinching or marking of the main tube body. My only reason for wanting to swap the PM II is that I have come to prefer a reticle which has numbers on it.This is the scope I have: https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/schmidt-bender-pm-ii-5-25x56-lp-ffp-p4f-moa-1-4-moa-ccw-riflescope
  8. My mate was working in a studio, when the conversation turned to Terence Trent D'arby. He was shocked to learn that none of the 'young guns' knew who Terence Trent D'arby was - in fact one of the junior designers thought he was talking about a horse race!
  9. I’ve come to my senses and I’m withdrawing these scopes from sale.
  10. Hi Guys, I have two Schmidt & Bender 5-25x PM II rifle scopes with the much sought after CCW turrets and the P4FL FFP reticles. These scopes both have MOA adjustments and DT turrets. Both scopes are in excellent used condition, with perfect glass. I am extremely reluctant to part with either of these scopes, they took many years to source, but a genuine reason forces sale. I have owned all the 'PM II killers' including Kahles, Nightforce etc. and nothing comes close to the PM II in terms of controlling Chromatic Aberration – including Swarovski glass. One look and it'll be clear to see that the 5-25x PM II is still the King of rifle scopes. £1,800 is the going rate for these scopes with CW turrets, but the CCW turrets version very rarely shows up for sale. No offers, price includes next day P&P to Mainland UK. I will only ship to mainland UK.
  11. Hi Guys, On Monday I will be receiving a brand new, still sealed in the factory cellophane, replacement pair of KILO 3000BDX binoculars from SIG's distributor in the UK. These binoculars are a warranty replacement from SIG. Genuine reason for sale. I will only be opening them to check that the contents are undamaged. £1,300 posted to Mainland UK. No offers please, these are £1,475 new (if you can find them in stock), and like I say, the pair I am selling are in fact new.
  12. Hi Guys, how are you finding RS powders in terms of lot-to-lot consistency? In particular RS62? The RS Website states ±12m/s between lots = ±39.6fps (or potentially a 79.2fps ES).
  13. I bought this on the advice of a vey experienced stalker friend who reckoned this was the best low-light scope that had ever been brought to market – but for some reason nobody could figure out had been discontinued by Swarovski. It has the minimum number of lens elements possible in order to minimise light transmission loss and the 8x56 configuration yields the perfect 7mm exit pupil. The friend in question reckoned it was the ultimate Sika scope, due to the fact that they only come out the treeline long after most other scopes have given up.Sure enough a couple of months later this scope appeared for sale and I snapped it up. Apart from looking out the window during dusk a couple of times, this scope has sat on the shelf since I bought it and I don't see it being used by me any time soon.It has what I believe is called a 4a reticle - thick posts a 3,6 and 9 o'clock. I can't give you an exact weight but it's absolutely featherlight, and would complement a lightweight stalking rifle perfectly. The glass is perfect and I'd put the scope tube at 9.75/10 if I'm being really anal - no dents or dings. My local RFD who looked at it reckoned I would get £475 for it easy – so £475 inc. P&P to your door (mainland UK only). Please note that the Swarovski shooting bag and the kitchen counter aren't included in the sale.FYI Northern Ireland isn't mainland UK and neither is Stuttgart).
  14. Hi Guys, I have a brand new in box, pair of SIG Sauer KILO 3000 BDX laser range finding binoculars. They display range to target and also the correct come-up/windage for your particular rifle & ammunition. They have an Applied Ballistics computer built-in, and can also talk to other BDX devices, a Kestrel 5700 Elite (Link), and your smartphone. The SIG BDX smartphone app is very easy to use. If you're shooting long range from a fixed position, you can set your Kestrel 5700 Elite (Link) up on a weather vane, and it will constantly update the KILO 3000 BDX with wind direction & speed. Genuine reason for sale: I'm a full-time carer for my 86yo mother, who has had both hips replaced in the last 10 months, and has just broken her femur in the last week. Hence we've been shielding this whole time. Between lockdown restrictions for the foreseeable, and the fact that I can't leave my mum unattended for any length of time, I'm just not going to be able to use these fantastic binos anytime soon. £1,200 posted to mainland UK, which represents a saving of £275. Also advertised elsewhere.
