  1. I wouldn't charge anything even if i did take pictures for them as im doing my real job there that pays good anyway . So it wouldn't even be classed as commercial work . Now knowing there's all these 'rules' etc it could only be for 2 or 3  people a year anyway without charge - id be doing them a little favor , for nothing in return but a flight round there land / dwelling simply for photographs to then email them to the customer . I enjoy flying this thing its challenging and fun . But god forbid they give me 10 or 20 quid so it covered my fuel there and back lol .

  2. Many thanks A ... The last thing i want to do is shoot a magpie and not have a license in place . Will apply now.. atb

well iv been trying to apply but my luck with tecknology  is rubbish . iv downloaded adobe reader so the forms will show but no joy . I will go direct to NE's website and try again . that's an hour gone , very frustrating

lol - still no joy - im effin useless on computer , even printing now is a task . New laptop but ffs you have to jump thru hoops for anything to work . I haven't got time for this bs ..

  3. Thanks matey , so theres not one for magpie ??? As these are the 2 main culprets carrion crows and magpies - altho id normally shoot all crows as they all predate in some way shape or form . In all fairness jays don't seem to affect the livestock on the shoots , but they would predate ground nesting birds and songbird nests / chicks - they had ann’s wren nest last year ( neighbor ) now that really pizzed me off as the wrens here are pretty scarce now .

  4. Has anyone actually applied for the gl26 and received it? Iv had 1 of my farmers contact me  . I was waiting patiently to see what happens . This is the license to control corvids to protect livestock so its pretty effing important and im getting a little impatient . And damage has no doubt been done . I think ill apply for an individual license - haven't a clue how long this would take . Anyone have one or attempted to get one ? ATB in these frustrating times...

  5. X i get the impression your fighting a loosing battle with tac and that bullet weight , ok , try different seating depth etc . But dont hold your breath . I honestly think this powder is suited to lighter bullets . I spent a bit getting 3 tubs of the stuff from kranks delivered , but in my 223 ackley 8 twist . No matter what i tried it just wasn't acceptable accuracy wise and the pressure  signs i was getting in the stiffer loads was unpredictable and dangerous so dropped it and went back to h4895 which was worked up to load and consistent in comparison .

Its very frustrating trying these things and not getting desired results . I would agree on the n140 or a similar rs powder although iv never used rs yet . Once iv ran out of 4895 and varget ill switch . If your getting .4 with 4895 then "just" a case of finding a replacement powder . Do you have access to any other powders ?? Before you go buying like 3 different tubs ?

  6. goldie do you know how long your freebore is if any ? Im assuming you have a custom barrel ? My 6br has a 104" fb to suit the Amax 105 , but iv got some eld to try but still have 2-300 Amax left . So would be good info on your distance out the case neck etc ? Cheers

  7. Are you target shooting with them ? Iv just looked in to nosler bullets for " hunting " that is , there's ballistic tip hunting 90 & 95 grain spitzers

or the ballistic tip varmint but only go up to 80 grain . The 87 grain V-max could well be the best bet along with the 95 grain nosler bullets for hunting that is ...

If its solely target then you have allot of choice sir smk Tmk scenar clinch rivers D-tac and more .
