sandtrap
Am I right to say Remington or a clone is 1/4”x28 for the stock screws ? Can these be sourced with Torx heads ? Also the forward one on my rifle I think is ever so slightly too short ! Seems to tighten after only two revolutions, Iv had the stock off and the screw can easily be in another two turns without interfering with the bolt
Ronin
Most custom (Rem footprint) actions have 1/4”x28 TPi threaded screws or cap head bolts Suggest you contact PRS (Callum Ferguson ) who sells BAT action screws for replacement they have a lovely deep head for an Allen key or appropriate bit (if using a torque wrench) The screws will be supplied long and will need cutting to length but that is relatively simple task of you have basic engineering skills
ejg223
I bought some with deep allen head from our normal engineer supply store. They were in stock. You should be able to get these screws in the UK. edi

Woodlander
I bought 1/4in UNF (28tpi) cap screws off ebay. They cost 1.99 inc postage. Not torx, but deep allen head.
lapua
The BAT ones really compliment a quality floorplate like a sunny hill
