Scotch_egg
Are .223 mags still produced for the AICS? I've not finished my current build and I'm onto planning the next. Let alone Thought how I'm going to fund it.....
baldie
I,ve been converting .308 mags for accuracy international and sporting services for 18 months....i really wish they would hurry up and bring out the plastic .223 one. £30 on top of the mag price to convert it. Turns it from a 10 round .308 into a 16 round .223/204 etc.
Scotch_egg
Dave can you do the 5 round? The shorter mag would be better when out foxing.
TC
AI are now making their own 10rd .223 mag to fit AICS - Sporting Services are expecting a decent shipment in mid March. The mags are longer than the 5rd .308 and are plastic not metal - there are pics kicking around on Snipers Hide etc. They are circa $40 in the US. baldie
Sporting services have been expecting the ai mags since last august. They aren,t available in the states yet, despite several firms advertising them. I wish they would bloody hurry up, they are a pain in the arse to convert. I did six on friday. I can convert the 5 round mags no problem at all Dave. What 223 action are you after ? We still have some brand new remington actions in .223, all they come with is a trigger and bolt, also the lawton repeaters in .223 bolt face.
