whoowhoop
Hi, Hope this is in the right section. A few years ago I downloaded a copy of a chart which showed the reasons for consistent missing on a target. ie grouping at 4 o clock caused by snatching trigger ? I think it was from an old USMC manual. Unfortunately I gave it to someone who lost it. I have tried googling but no success - it was a chance find anyway. Have any of you come across something similar? Many thanks - great site and very informative postings, by the way.
Chris-NZ
You mean this one? TargetRightHanded.pdf I believe this relates to classic prone shooting, as in with a sling Experience suggest yanking the trigger usually produces a 5 o'clock shot and "putting your shoulder into it" produces an 11 o'clock shot. Not that I've ever done it.. Chris-NZ
deerman
I know I have a copy of such a chart somewhere given to me while taking the DMQ level 1 at Thetford Forest. It is very useful and easy to understand. I did a quick search on the net and found this link which you may find useful. http://www.n-ssa.org/NORTHWEST/Flinching%20and%20Jerking.htm Best, G
whoowhoop
I knew this was the place to ask! Chris, that looks like the one I remember. Spot on! Deerman - I thought I gave up jerking when I was a teenager, but obviously I was wrong! Many thanks Mark
