ejg223
Finally came around to make myself a stock for my 243 remmy. I ordered in some very fancy fibers and advanced resins. Moulded the stock last Monday and zeroed the rifle on Friday. The stock weighs 750 grams duracoated, butt pad and studs. Saturday morning we left the house at 5 and headed for the hills. What a change to carry a real lightweight rifle for a change. edi

ejg223
Gary, looks like it is slowly going that way. We only have three different stocks up and running in small quantities at the moment and are developing a few things in the tactical area. The comming year will show if we will keep going with stocks or change directions. I must say I'm enjoying the developement of our small production because I can see the benefits of the products when out stalking or foxing. ....and lets face it, technology wise most competition products did not advance since the seventies. Scotch, the first tac stock was a buy product of our developement. Pretty conventional build that needs to be inlet via milling after moulding, even so one can pull a few tricks with with good materials placed in the right places. Ronin, coming to the IWA? edi
Chris-NZ
Sure looks the biz Edi. The older I get, the less I enjoy lugging weight up hills Did you skim bed the action or just sit it straight on the inlet? Chris

Chris Not bedded yet Chris. Although it would be better. The recoil lug in the stock is moulded to 9mm so that aftermarket lugs can fit. My original remmy lug is a bit lost in the opening. For now I'm happy with 1/2" groups as she is with the factory tube. edi
