rooster Posted December 31, 2009 Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 I am thinking of replacing the laminate stock on my .308 Howa varmint with something more practical and light for stalking (synthetic). Tried SYSS today and they have nothing in, Jacksons have nothing suitable and Midway looks like it only has Hogues atm. Any suggestions please? rooster Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 I asked for the wildog and he said there was none left for Howas, went through the Hogues and could not find a heavy barrel s/a either, did say he was stood in a corner surrounded by 200 stocks as well though! MarinePMI Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 Bell & Carlson makes a good stock. They're listed for the Weatherby Vanguard (same as Howa 1500).
