foxing2night
Well things are starting to come together at last!!!! Cannot get the 123g scenars to shoot as good as i thought that they would??? They do not seem to like reloader 15 in my rifle,, Or my rifle does not like 123 scenars???? 95g vmax with 38.5g re 15 Will put ten shots into .457 of an inch Did this twice just to make sure,, Both ten shot groups Shot off the bipod with my hand under the butt,,,,, Right that is the foxing load sorted out???? One more try with the scenars and re15,,, Thrre bullets one hole two out??? and again three in two out,,, This is doing my nut in???? So now i have bought some h4350 from the midland,, And i will try and load some up ready for the next outing???? Should be interesting??? Thanks to dave 6br, ronnin, and greg,,, I have got some good loads to try out??? I have spoken to a lot off people and the did not get good results with the re15 powder?? Also when the sound mod comes this should tighten things up a bit?? F2n
Guest varmartin
Hi Darrel, the 95's are going to work by the looks of things! Keep at it with the 123's ..... There must be a good load for your tube, just a matter of finding it.

Ronin
Varget is the way forwards. Try changing primers, I use CCI small BR. Groups closed when I changed, change one thing at a time. (powder, seat depth, primers) Shot a five shot .250" last week with mine, and its had 3000 rounds through it, it still averages in the .3"s Wolf primers appear to be getting good results with some people (never tried em myself) 123 Scenars like to be .005" off the lands. 130 Bergers like to be .010" into the lands. Norma 130 Diamond lines are another option but theyre spendy if you can find em
6mmBR
I had the same problem as you with Scenars in my Border barrel! 3 in 2 out or always something spoiling the group, it did my nut in! As I said I swapped to Berger 120 BTHP and normality retuned beautiful groups and no more fliers. Cheers Dave
Elwood
Same problem here, I just could not get the scenars to group consistently, I ended up using Sierra 123 MK's and N540, a load that Baldie gave me. I tried RL 15, N140, and Varget with the scenars.
Chris-NZ
Before you give up on the 123s Darrel, give Varget a try as Ronin has suggested. Mine likes 38gr with bullet lightly into throat cheers Chris-NZ
