Just getting my bits and pieces together for reloading in this calibre,got my forster dies,and so far

Lapua brass

250 grain lapua scenars

Fed 215 primers

Vhit N560 powder

Any advice on recipes col foibles etc??

The rifle is a Remington PSS

Gary due to the large quantity of powder used by the .338 Lap, I have heard there's an upgrade you can make to your powder dispencer, saves a lot of messing about.

Have loads for H1000, RL25 and H4831SC, however the latter is not the most accurate (in my rifle) - I suspect that Vit 160 (whose burn rate is almost idntical to 4831) will give similar results....

 

 

Personaly I would use slower powder (H1000 / RL25) Vit 170.....

I use R25 and VV570 in my .338 with 250grn scenars not worked out a proper load with either yet but i get a fuller case with the vit.

 

Should have done my load development by the end of next weekend.
