Buck before lamping.

Recommended Posts

Was asked to look in on a field of beans the deer had been hammering and unfortunately for this fellah he was stood near a master that is too good for just a cull buck. He now resides in the chiller at 122lbs dressed out.

Picture is my usual crap offering, a snapshot at near dark on my mobile.

Its the extraction that I don't envy <_<

Lovely colouring compared to the black fallow I have on my ground.

We've got less darkies on our ground now because they're always first to be shot when stalking them generally, and I would normally have passed on this beast, but as I said, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and with the tenant farmer looking on, I wasn't given an option as he'd been the one to phone the head keeper about the problem.

Shame really, as I really like to see these light coloured beasts around, especially in low light.

Unfortunately so do the poachers.

Pete.
