If you have a rifle bedded then after that have it duracoated does it need rebedding?

dura coat first.(if you have the choice) as you are trying to make a copy of the bottom of the action for it to sit in.

Best practice would be to get it coated first and bed second, however, I have done several rifles both ways around and really there is next to no difference - the bedded first duracoated second rifles are a little tighter in the bedding thats all - were talking microns of thickness of coating here.

Just mask off the bedded area. Trimm with a scalpel. Even use plastercine in tight areas.

I'd try avoid spraying over the bedding.

Some smiths prefer to bed first. Bedding a rifle without messing up

a new paint job is also not that easy.
